  • Professor Stephan Kampowski: Professor Kampowski is an associate professor of philosophical anthropology at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Rome. He is a coordinator of the masters in bioethics and formation organized in conjunction with the Bioethics Institute of the University of the Sacred Heart, Rome. His two other books in English are Arendt, Augustine, and the New Beginning and A Greater Freedom: Biotechnology, Love, and Human Destiny.

  • Father Jose Granados: Rev. José Granados is the Vice President of the Pontifical Institute of John Paul II (Rome) where he is also a professor of dogmatic theology of marriage and family; he is also a guest professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University. In April 2013 he was appointed by Pope Francis as a consultant to the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith. Rev. Granados has earned a Doctorate of Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome (Bellarmine Award). He also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICAI), Madrid. He has authored several publications including, with Carl Anderson, Called to Love: Approaching John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.

Rist is also a strong advocate of much more serious marriage preparation for couples intending to marry in the Catholic Church. He would also be good on the Eastern Orthodox practice, especially its history.
